Hotel Brokers International Welcomes Industry Leaders to 2026 Board of Directors

New Board Class Reflects Depth of Transactional Expertise Across Key U.S. Markets

Hotel Brokers International (HBI), the premier association of specialists in hotel real estate brokerage, has announced the election of new members to its Board of Directors, reinforcing the organization’s leadership bench at a time of continued evolution in hospitality investment and transactions. The new directors will begin their terms on February 9.

Representing diverse geographic markets and a broad spectrum of hotel deal experience – from independent properties to branded assets – the incoming board members strengthen HBI’s ability to serve as a strategic resource for hotel owners, investors, and brokerage professionals nationwide.

The newly elected officers and directors include:

• Errol A. D’Souza – Laurel Real Estate Company, Columbus, Ohio

• Dan Emert – Prime Investment Properties, LLC, Steamboat Springs, Colorado

• Anup Shah – AHG Brokerage, LLC, Kissimmee, Florida
